I was born in Boston, Massachusetts where I became enamored with 17th and 18th Century paintings at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. I saw in them a magical realm of beauty not to be found elsewhere. After following a more conventional path that took me in other directions, I was finally able to pursue my passion later in life, studying in the atelier environment at Gage Academy in Seattle, Washington. I now paint portraits, figures and commissioned works in my Amesbury, Massachusetts studio.
